23/24 Open Enrollment for Health Plans

Open Enrollment begins on July 3, 2023 and ends on July 14, 2023. This is the time of year when you can make changes to your health coverage for an August 1, 2023 effective date. Only those of you who want to enroll, cancel, add or delete dependents, switch plans or make any other changes to your current medical, dental and/or vision coverage need to take action during Open Enrollment. Otherwise, your current elections will remain in place through July 31, 2024.

WHAT’S NEW EFFECTIVE 8/1/2023

  • Increase in vision frame allowance to $200

  • Aetna’s Attain Wellness program will no longer be offered.

  • Effective 1/1/2024:

    • Teledoc copay will increase to the following on all Aetna Plans:

      • General Medical will increase from $49/visit in 2023 to $56/visit in 2024

      • Dermatology will increase from $75/consult in 2023 to $85 consult in 2024

      • Mental Health

        ·         $85/therapist visit in 2023 to $90/visit in 2024

        ·         $190/psychiatrist first visit in 2023 to $215 in 2024

        ·         $95/psychiatrist ongoing visit in 2023 to $100 in 2024

WHAT’S NOT NEW

  • Aetna will continue to be our medical and dental vendor and VSP for vision.

  • Open Enrollment will be conducted online again this year. If you want to participate, please submit all forms via “Submit” button or this secure link here: Secure Web Link for Employee Forms (drag and drop). Faxes and scans to emails will not be accepted. If you send via US Mail, please be advised that there may be a delay in processing your forms.
