20/21 Open Enrollment for Health Plans

Open Enrollment begins on July 6 and ends on July 17, 2020. This is the time of year when you can make changes to your health coverage which are effective August 1, 2020. Only those of you who want to enroll, cancel, add or delete dependents, switch plans or make any other changes to your current medical, dental and/or vision coverage need to take action during Open Enrollment. Otherwise, your current elections will remain in place through 7/31/21.

WHAT’S NEW

Open Enrollment will be conducted online this year since we are unable to mail packages to your homes. If you want to participate, please submit all forms via the Secure Web Link for Employee Forms (drag and drop). Faxes and scans to emails will not be accepted. If you send via US Mail, please be advised that there may be a delay in processing your forms. Effective 8/1/20, due to their recent purchase by CVS, the Advanced Control Plan will replace the Value Plus Formulary. If you are impacted by the prescription drug formulary change, you will receive a letter from Aetna regarding the affected drug and possible formulary alternatives.

Effective 8/1/20, due to their purchase of Aetna’s book of business, Life insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) will transition over to The Hartford (core benefits remain the same).

Aetna has been able to keep the cost of Teladoc consults consistent for over six years without any increase. Due to rising medical costs, the copays for general medicine & behavioral health will modestly increase in some cases effective 1/1/2021 (below).

WHAT’S NOT NEW

  • Aetna will continue to be our medical and dental vendor and VSP will continue to be our vision vendor.

  • Despite an increase in Aetna's premiums, for the sixth year in a row, your costs for coverage will stay the same through 7/31/21.

Step 1: Complete the Open Enrollment Form (for non-contracted Telepictures employees only, use Open Enrollment Form2 )

Step 2: Upload by July 17th via SECURE WEB LINK FOR OPEN ENROLLMENT FORMS - faxes and scans to emails will not be accepted.  If you send via US Mail, please be advised that there may be a delay in processing your forms.
