January 1, 2019 - 2019 Flexible Spending Account elections become effective
Early January - Review your paychecks to ensure that your deductions accurately reflect your current benefit plans. Any errors should be reported immediately to Benefits at (818) 972-0094.
Mid January - Time to elect your 401(k) catch-up contributions. In order to participate, you must be at least 50 years old or turning 50 in 2019 and making the maximum annual elective contribution ($19,000 or, if lower, 60% of your eligible compensation or 8% if you are considered a highly compensated employee, generally defined as those who earned more than $125,000 in 2018).
March 31, 2019 - Last day to submit 2018 FSA claims to PayFlex for reimbursement
2nd – 3rd Quarter - Annual Financial Reporting for health & welfare plans posted
July 1 - July 12, 2019 - Open Enrollment for 2018/2019 health plans
August 1, 2019 - Open Enrollment health changes become effective
3rd – 4th Quarter - Annual Financial Reporting for 401(k) retirement plan posted
November 4 - 15, 2019 - Open Enrollment for 2020 Flexible Spending Accounts
